“So you’re jealous not necessarily of our relationship but because it was him that helped me?” Nate stayed quiet but his eyes never left hers. “Why does that bug you so much?” “Because it was something I started with you. I wanted to be there as you crossed the finish line.”  “oh, Nate,” she said reaching out to touch his arm, “you were at the finish line. You just didn’t know it at the time.” – Teaser, H.M. Shander

So Beautiful! I couldn’t wait to read this book, I was so pumped for the ending and let me just say it was Amazing! Shander really has a talent for making you feel. This book was so damn good! This books starts of with Aurora finally getting Nate back and it turns out it wasn’t what it all was cracked up to be. She wound up feeling more alone than she ever was, Lucas was not a major part of her everyday routine because Nate was Jealous. And you could tell it really bothered her, which meant it bothered Nate even more that she was so closely bonded with Lucas and that they shared so much that he couldn’t give her. It really upset me that Nate kept pushing her for more because he wanted a deep connection like Aurora has with Lucas, so he badgers her about driving, and about returning to the scene of the accident with causes her to relapse, then because he thing it’s smart to have her jump out of a swing she hurts herself and is dependent on pills which makes her addiction flare back ugly. He was constantly throwing Mathew in her face. And as if this is all not enough, Nate is considering chasing his dreams and career he was ready to walk away from a few weeks prior. He throws at her that this new contract he wants to take that she could tarnish his image! Ugh that was it for me right there! I had a lot of pent-up frustration and anger towards Nate. (Shander really wrote his character well to pull so many strong emotions for the reader, in fact all the characters are well written .)Nate got that Bitch Pregnant and keep it a secret, along with making huge life decisions without consulting Aurora or asking her opinion. I hurt for Aurora so much. My heart bled for her. And this who time Lucas was there still pushing for her to stick it out with Nate and work through it, so UnSelfishly. He was there to help piece her back together her rock! This book had a perfect ending! I’m on cloud 9! I loved it! All of it! I devoured it! Loved, Loved!! It’s Epic! A story about heartache, pain, hope, second chance, the ability to overcome anything and a Love so Deeply it makes you believe in Everything happens for a reason! Don’t pass this series up!

“They had plans to conquer the PTSD. What they didn’t plan for were the intense emotions that come with pushing yourself to the breaking point, and learning who you are and what you want.” – Teaser, H.M. Shander

Wow… my mind is completely Blown! I didn’t not anticipate how much this book was going to make me feel! I should have! Because the first book really hit my emotions but it was nothing compared to how this book left me! This Author just has a way of making you connect with the characters in such a deep level. Where to even begin.. Aurora has been through so much pain and her PTSD is so Heartbreaking and Terrifying it consumes her everyday life to the extreme and she is so strong, she wants to over come that. For Nate. Nate was my everything in the first book, but in this book he really took the back burner. Yes, there was betrayal on Aurora’s part but I just felt like after everything he gave her in the first book he just gave up way to easily on during this book. He didn’t try to make contact he just gave up. Everything was Aurora wanting him and wanting to overcome her addiction and her Fears for him… now that being said woah! Lucas.. like where the hell he come from I so didn’t see him coming. He was the sweetest, most caring and just Everything to me in this book. He was there with her everyday fighting for Aurora. He was unselfishly fighting for his brother, for her happiness. Oh he is definitely my favorite. #TeamLucas. Ending this book I’m left heartbroken for Lucas , want to “gently” shake some sense into Aurora, and just not happy with Nate and his out of sight out of mind, go get another girlfriend ass! Lol be prepared to have your world rocked! This is a great read! It’s so well written, very emotional and pulls on all your heartstrings. Don’t pass this book up!
